Angelo Izama

Biography

Angelo Izama is a Ugandan journalist, writer, and analyst. He is team leader at VRS – part of the human security focused think tank Fanaka Kwawote that he co-founded in 2008. Izama is a recipient of several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the Knight Fellowship at Stanford University, the Reagan-Fascell Democracy fellowship and the Open Society Fellowship. Angelo is a member of the Board of Directors at Uganda Investment Authority and Head of Faculty at LéO Africa Institute.
