Liesl Louw-Vaudran

Bio


Liesl Louw-Vaudran is a senior researcher working in the ISS office in Pretoria. She is also the editor of the ISS’s monthly publication and online series, the Peace and Security Council Report. Liesl joined the ISS in 2008 as an associate editor. Previously, she was a foreign correspondent and Africa editor for Media24 in South Africa, and has over 20 years of experience working in several African countries. His latest book “South Africa in Africa: Superpower or Neocolonialist” examines South Africa’s role in post-apartheid Africa. Liesl holds a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Pretoria (South Africa).
