Bio


Ann-Kathrin Schewe is a researcher at the Berlin Institute for Population and Development in Berlin, Germany. Her work focuses on demographic challenges in sub-Saharan Africa and Germany and their consequences for economy, society and policy. She co-authored the study “Africa’s Demographic Trailblazers”, analysing demographic success stories of seven African countries. She holds a master’s degrees in international development and international business management from Sciences Po Paris and Stockholm School of Economics.
