Esther Shakela Pomwene is a dynamic leader in African youth leadership and inclusivity. With a background in academia, public service, and advocacy, she is committed to advancing Africa’s youth agenda through mentorship, capacity building, and advocacy. Esther is also a champion for youth involvement in the Green Hydrogen sector, promoting sustainability. Currently, she holds the role of Professional Assistant to the Presidential Advisor on Economics and Green Hydrogen Commissioner in Namibia, contributing significantly to the country’s strategic decision-making processes, in youth leadership, governance, and the Green Hydrogen sector.
Her mission revolves around empowering African youth, removing barriers to their participation in policy and decision-making, and fostering innovation and inclusivity.
