Emolot Allan David has extensive experience in youth leadership, development practice, human rights, and socio-economic advocacy. Emolot Allan David is a dynamic leader, facilitator at the Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre,and advocate with a rich tapestry of expertise in youth leadership, governance, peace and security, intra-African trade, and socio-economic development. As the Chairperson of the Independent Continental Youth Advisory Council on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), he champions youth inclusion in shaping Africa’s economic and security landscape, passionately asserting that “Intra-African Trade equals Peace and Security in Africa.” He has worked with prestigious institutions, including the African Union Youth Envoy Office, World Vision International, MSTCDC/YouLead Africa, and the Human Rights and Peace Centre at Makerere University’s School of Law. A holder of a Master’s in Local Governance and Human Rights, Emolot is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies
at Makerere University, deepening his insight into the intersections of diplomacy, regional cooperation, and peacebuilding, key themes in Africa’s evolving peacekeeping architecture.
