Bio


Emolot Allan David has extensive experience in youth leadership, development practice, human rights, and socio-economic advocacy. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Independent Continental Youth Advisory Council for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), where he plays a pivotal role in promoting youth engagement at the African Union level, shaping the future of African geopolitics.

Emolot’s diverse career has included collaborations with prestigious organisations like the African Union Youth Envoy Office, World Vision International, MSTCDC, and the Human Rights and Peace Centre at Makerere University’s School of Law. In 2022, he was recognized as one of the top 100 most influential people of African descent supporting the United Nations International Decade of African Descent, underscoring his remarkable influence in youth empowerment, governance, and human rights.

Additionally, he contributes to strategies to overcome barriers young people face in accessing political and decision-making spaces, including mentorship, capacity building, and advocacy.
