Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye

Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye is the official spokesperson of the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF).
Felix got a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the Makerere University, and later a Master of Arts in Economic Policy and Planning at the same university.

His military career began in 1989, when he saw combat against the Lord’s Resistance Army in Northern Uganda as a platoon commander. He served as the UPDF Spokesperson in a first term from 2005 to 2013. Later, he was elected as a Member of Parliament representing the UPDF in the 10th Parliament from 2016 to 2021.

As of 4th February 2022, he has taken on the role of UPDF spokesperson for the second time.
