Biography

Since September 2023, Konstantin Krome is the Policy Advisor for German Armed Forces and Civil Affairs at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Headquarter, Germany. Previously to taking up this position, he served in the Bundeswehr Office for Defence Planning, working on Future Analysis and Strategic Foresight. His main research interests are civil-military relations, geopolitics in the MENA as well as theories of power transition and global order. He holds an MA degree in Political Science from Heidelberg University and an MLitt degree in Middle East Security Studies from the University of St Andrews.
