H.E. Deborah Malac is the current United States Ambassador to Uganda and former US Ambassador in Liberia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies as well as a master’s degree in Foreign Affairs. In 2002, she received an MSc in National Resources Strategy from the National Defense University. Previously, she occupied high-ranked positions in embassies and UN offices in Laos, South Africa, Thailand, Cameroon, Senegal and Ethiopia.
