Maleeha Khandwalla is an accomplished expert in international trade law and youth empowerment. Her role as a Project and Program Coordinator at the AfCFTA Youth Advisory Council demonstrates her passion and expertise, creating a powerful force for positive change in Africa. With a LLB degree from Strathmore University, she has worked in World Trade Organization Law, East African Community Law, dispute resolution, and international investment law. Maleeha’s notable achievements include leading her team to victory in the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law and receiving the Tralac Prize for Best Female Oralist of the African Regional Round.
She is also committed to knowledge dissemination, with scholarly work on topics like regional economic integration in the African Continental Free Trade Area, foundational principles of international trade law, and Kenya’s negotiations for bilateral agreements.
