Since 2020, Mohamed Abdoulkader Moussa is the Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) in Djibouti.
He holds a Masters degree in Public Administration, International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Brest and a diploma in International Strategy and Analysis from the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques (IRIS).
He began his professional career in Geneva. He was in charge of health and human rights issues at the Permanent Mission of Djibouti to the United Nations. In January 2015, he started at the MAECI as a Counsellor. Afterwards, he was appointed as Deputy Director at the MAECI’s Institute of Diplomatic Studies.
