Mohamed Abdilahi Duale is the Director General of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Somaliland. He previously served in the same role at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
With over 16 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, Duale holds an MA in International Law from Bristol Law School, University of West England, and a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Hargeisa. Additionally, Duale holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University in India. He also served as a visiting lecturer at the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Hargeisa.
