A water and sanitation specialist, Lucas Cornet has been posted at the frontline of various contexts. From the hidden fossil aquifer of the Sahara Desert at the crossroad of Chad, Libya and Niger to the lush basin of DR Congo and from the rural Haitian Black Mountains to the largest refugee camp of the world in Bangladesh.
A water engineer by training (M.Eng, MSc), he had to go beyond his technical field of expertise to understand the global water challenges, only exacerbated by a changing climate. He assisted various organizations including Government Agencies, the United Nations and the World Bank with the same intention, unleashing investments for the support of this fragile resource playing such a central role in peace, stability and shared prosperity.
