Mary Ssonko Nabacwa, Ph.D. is the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and an Associate Professor at Uganda Christian University. She is also a Research Associate of Makerere Institute of Social Research and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wales. Mary has worked as a lecturer, consultant, researcher and advisor on development issues especially in relation to gender and development. She has undertaken consultancies for organisations such as ActionAid, OXFAM, Concern World Wide and GIZ.
