Steffen Krüger is heading the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’S (KAS) Country Office Egypt. Previously, Mr Krüger managed other KAS country programmes in Morocco, Mauritania and DR Congo and a EU programme to promote the political participation of women in Benin and Morocco.
Prior to that Mr Krüger was a desk officer for the Francophone countries of Sub-Saharan Africa at the headquarters of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Berlin. He also worked for the US-based organisations World Learning and Fintrac. Prior to that, he started as a Project Assistant (2002-2005) with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Benin, West Africa. Mr Krüger holds a Diploma in Political Science (University of Marburg) and a Graduate Degree in International Education (SIT Graduate Institute).
