Prof. Yazidhi Bamutaze

Bio


Prof. Yazidhi Bamutaze is an Associate Professor at Makerere University’s Department of Geography, Geo-Informatics, and Climatic Sciences. His research spans geomorphic processes, land use change, geospatial modelling, and climate change adaptation. He has led a Volkswagen Foundation-funded project on climate change impacts in the Lake Victoria Basin and serves as the Secretary of IALE-African Chapter and an executive member of AARSE. Dr Bamutaze has significant experience organising international conferences and workshops.
