Prof. Sarah N. Ssali

Bio


Sarah N. Ssali, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Women and Gender Studies, Makerere University. She holds a Ph.D. in International Health Studies, an MA in Gender Studies and a BA in Social Sciences. She teaches and researches about Gender, Politics and State Policy, Health Systems, Institutions and Social Transformation. Sarah is currently the principal investigator of the Gender Equality Project and Director of the ARUA Centre of Excellence in Notions of Identity in Africa.
