Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro

Phiona Nyamutoro is a Ugandan politician and legislator representing the Youth in the Parliament of Uganda, she is the National Female Youth Member of Parliament in the Parliament of Uganda. She is a staunch member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) on whose ticket she got to parliament. Phiona Nyamutoro was a Vice Guild President while at Makerere University 2015 -2016. Her journey has been marked by academic excellence and a passion for youth empowerment. She is the current Minister of State for Minerals in the Ministry of Energy and Minerals Development, to which she was appointed on 22 March 2024.
