Abimbola Ogundairo

Abimbola Ogundairo is Advocacy and Campaign lead, at Africa no filter, With over eight years of experience in the international development sector, Abimbola has successfully supported organizations like ActionAid and Plan International in implementing impactful advocacy strategies. She led the #GirlsGetEqual Campaign in Nigeria, a global movement of youth activists working to promote girls’ rights. Abimbola holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree from the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. Born in Nigeria and raised in Kenya, her diverse background fuels her mission to authentically represent African stories, guiding her impactful work at Africa No Filter.In March 2025, Abimbola has launched  “Africa Bias Buster”, an AI-enabled tool which helps writers detect African bias and stereotypes, and ultimately improve their writing
